Alexis

Mitrovgenis

Goalkeeper Coach

Goalkeeper coach. Played football at division 2 level for 20 years. He made his debut in division 2 at the age of 15 for Karlskrona AIF. He then represented IFK Fjärås, Lerkils IF and Angered BK. Alexis has also played in Greece at a high level for two years.

Alexis' coaching career is not long but has managed to coach Hovås Bildal's women's team division 2, and Angered BK men's division 2. He is also part of and has been responsible for goalkeepers at IFK Gothenburg's all camps. Has completed coach education SvFF Gk D and Gk B.

The most important thing as a coach and person is that I try to simplify the trainings by breaking down the exercises and explaining in detail so the goalkeeper learns the right basics and at the same time add that little extra to challenge the goalkeeper and not be in the comfort zone.

I Believe in a fearless goalkeeper who tries to influence the future and not think too much about the mistakes that just happened during the game. Communication is a part that belongs to being fearless, daring to say to your teammates and being a leader from behind.
